Spring/Summer ABA Groups

Group Age Descriptions


  • Ages 2-5: Younger children, engage in sensory activities, simple storytimes, and basic friendship-building skills.
  • Ages 6-9: Kids who are starting to engage in more structured play and conversation, with storytime and activities to encourage social interaction.
  • Ages 10-13: Pre-teens working on communication skills and deeper friendship-building, with age-appropriate storytelling and conversation-focused activities.
  • Ages 14-18: Older teens focusing on more mature topics, storytelling, and developing deeper friendships and social connections.


Types of Groups


  • Friendship Clubs
  • Conversation Crew
  • Story Time


Pre-requisite Skills (varies across groups):


  • Shows interest in peers.
  • Can join group activities for up to 20 minutes
  • Enjoy sharing their interest

These programs may not be suitable if your child:

  • Does not yet speak in full sentences
  • Shows little interest in socializing
  • Displays behaviours that could cause injury or require emergency help


2-Hour Time Blocks/Duration

6 weeks / 10 weeks / 12 weeks)

  • 9:00 - 11:00 AM
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • 2:00 - 4:00 PM
  • One day or two days per week for each age group

Spring/Summer ABA Groups

Friendship Groups

Encourage group games that focus on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving clients' expectations.

Conversation Crew

Facilitate turn-taking in conversation and encourage kids to ask and answer questions in group settings goals.

Story Time

Short, engaging stories, with interactive elements like puppets or songs to encourage participation (younger children).


Read books or share stories, followed by group discussions about the story's themes, lessons, or favourite parts the unique needs of each client.
